What is the line of drying and packing sand
At the entrance, we have sand, which is delivered by dump trucks and spilled onto the floor in the workshop or on the site. At the output, we must get dry sandy and divided into fractions sand in silos. You can also not divide it into a fraction, but simply sift it, it all depends on the task.
Of course, sand can be obtained not by dump trucks, but in another way, then it just changes how we load it into the drum, but the delivery of dump trucks is usually the cheapest.
- The bunker for loading sand is a powerful metal structure, since the front loader loads sand and a bucket is possible, and a load from wet sand is also possible. The upper lattice eliminates large stones, it is also made of chopped metal, since just fittings or thin metal are very quickly collapsed from shock loads, when almost a ton of sand spils on them immediately.
- Under the conveyor there is a strip conveyor, he gives the sand to the second conveyor, which passes it to the drying drum.
- Drying drum – its performance is from 3 to 25 tons per hour. The higher the performance, the more powerful burner is needed. A cardinal leap in the cost of burners (diesel or gas) occurs with a performance above 15 tons per hour.
- A lot of wet dirty air forms in the drum, which enters there from the burner. It is stretched by a cyclone, the performance of the cyclone depends on the performance of the burner. At the same time, it is important to put an industrial reliable fan on the cyclone, since ordinary or not proven falls apart in a couple of weeks. For example, fans of the sodopli constantly failed, since there is an unreliable attachment of the impeller and it is made of aluminum. We use our own fans with a steel balanced impeller. Very durable.
- Next, dry and hot sand (about 120 degrees) leaves the drum and enters the receiving hopper, and from it it is taken by the bucket transporter is fed to the top of storage silos.
- The amount and volume of silos depends on the productivity of the drum and your tasks. Usually used from 20 to 120 cubic meters, several silage. For example, if we have the task of counting sand into three fractions up to 0.6mm, up to 1.5 mm, up to 2.5 mm, then there will be three silage.
