Drums are designed for sifting of sand, coal, gravel of crushed stone and other materials in industrial production of concrete, dry mixtures, construction, etc. Unlikevibrational roarVibration is not used in eardrums, and sifting occurs due to the rotation of the drum and the movement of the material inside it.
Drums are considered more durable than vibrational and more productive, especially when working with wet materials. However, they are able to scatter the material by only one fraction, which narrows the scope of their application.
